Intensive Outpatient Treatment
For patients who are lower risk or no longer require the full day of programming that our Partial Hospitalization Program offers, the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Peachford assists adults dealing with psychiatric issues as well as those with a combination of mental health and substance abuse issues.
IOP offers the same set of experienced nurses, therapists and counselors as our other programs for adults. The program offers more flexibility and independence for adult patients who’ve continued to progress in their treatment goals, but still need more care and oversight than is provided by typical outpatient counseling. IOP patients meet daily 9 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
ADULT DUAL DIAGNOSIS SERVICES
Peachford’s Dual Diagnosis Program is designed to meet the needs of adults who have both primary psychiatric disorders and struggle with a substance use issue. Based on 12-Step and relapse prevention models, the IOP offers immediate access to a structured environment and offers assistance in beginning and maintaining recovery. ADULT PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES
Designed to meet the needs of adults who have primary psychiatric disorders, Peachford Hospital addresses mental distress and issues that often interfere with a person’s ability to function at work or home. Mental health conditions are characterized by alterations in thinking, mood or behavior. Early intervention is needed before these issues become potentially life-threatening. Our goal at Peachford is to bring patients to a place of healthy functioning through coping tools we teach them.
