Our Continuum of Psychiatric Care
& Addiction Treatment
At Peachford Hospital, our aim is to help our patients heal mentally and emotionally. We offer inpatient and outpatient treatment services tailored to each individual’s needs. By working with the patient and their family, our mental health professionals provide strategies that assist them in the recovery process. Each program is specialized to accommodate different ages and life stages appropriately to ensure our patients’ best care in a secure but comfortable environment.
PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN
When your child is dealing with mental health issues, you want them to be able to get the help they need in a loving and caring atmosphere. At Peachford Hospital, our children’s programs are designed to treat kids ages 4 to 12. The programs are administered by professionals experienced at working with this age group. We provide a nurturing and therapeutic environment that gives children the tools they need to lead happy and hopeful lives.
From managing school and extracurricular activities to learning about relationships and how to navigate our changing world, teens have a lot on their plate. Adding mental health issues on top of it all is a stress that can feel unmanageable. Peachford can help. We offer programs specifically for teens ages 13 to 18, including those dealing with substance abuse issues.
Psychiatric, emotional and substance abuse problems can affect careers, marriages and relationships. Peachford offers a confidential, caring environment that promotes crisis resolution, positive self-awareness, social skills and personal growth. Care is provided on an inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient basis.
It’s not uncommon for elderly people to find themselves more emotional in later years. Many contributors, including a changing lifestyle, medical complications or extended illness, can play a part in anyone’s mental health issues. Peachford’s senior treatment programs are tailored to the needs of elderly patients ages 65 and up, offering services with compassion and dignity. Patients may receive treatment for addiction, psychiatric issues or dual diagnosis.
