Peachford Hospital offers a nurturing environment for adults, seniors, teens and children looking for hope and healing from emotional, behavioral, psychiatric and addiction issues. Our treatment team works together with patients and their family members to create individualized treatment plans that promote self-reliance, confidence, recovery and life-long health.
Services
Our inpatient and outpatient children’s programs are designed to treat patients ages 4 to 12. Administered by professionals experienced at working with this age group, the program provides a nurturing and therapeutic environment that gives children the tools they need to lead happy and hopeful lives.
Mental health issues can throw a teenager’s life into a spiral, causing problems at home and at school. Peachford can help. We offer inpatient and outpatient programs specifically for teens ages 13 to 18, including those dealing with substance abuse problems. We teach teens the skills they need to increase confidence, responsibility and self-reliance.
Untreated mental health issues like depression or bipolar disorder can damage relationships, but help is available. We offer a confidential, caring environment that promotes crisis resolution, positive self-awareness, social skills and personal growth. Care is provided on an inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient basis.
Aging can bring about unique issues, like memory loss, grief, and changes in lifestyle. These issues can cause emotional distress and depression in seniors. Peachford’s senior treatment programs are tailored to the needs of elderly patients, offering services with compassion and dignity. Patients may receive treatment for addiction, psychiatric issues or dual diagnosis.
Our approach is designed to treat individuals with co-occurring alcohol or drug related problems and psychiatric issues. When addictive behavior and mental illness create problems that prohibit the patient and family from functioning, Peachford provides a comprehensive program to assist in stabilizing the situation.
Branches Dunwoody, a service of Peachford Hospital, provides full and half day outpatient programs to children, adolescents and adults.
