Peachford’s Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) allows the patient to maintain a regular school schedule and live at home, while receiving complete treatment services for psychiatric or substance abuse problems. Adolescent IOP is often, but not always, the next step after our Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program.

The program is offered Monday through Friday from 9 am to noon and is based on our level system of therapeutic progress. It involves group therapy, creative expressions therapy and school.

Our compassionate treatment team is comprised of:

  • Psychiatrists
  • Licensed counselors
  • Social workers
  • Registered nurses

Family involvement is an integral part of the treatment process and can help reduce relapse as the family members become actively involved in the therapeutic process. Resources like our Parenting Classes educate and support parents walking through this process with their child. Upon successful completion of a course of treatment, a follow-up aftercare program is available at no charge to help the patient transition out of treatment.
