The Lodge at Peachford Hospital
The Lodge is off-campus, short-term housing offered to adult patients in the Partial Hospitalization (PHP) or Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Programs at Branches Dunwoody, a service of Peachford Hospital. Located approximately three miles from the hospital, the facility is convenient for patients with transition or transportation issues. The Lodge is appropriate for men and women over the age of 18 who are transitioning back to their normal routines.
Lodge members participate in groups during the day, reside in off-campus housing and participate in aftercare and support groups at the hospital. Meals are provided in the hospital cafeteria. A Peachford staff member monitors The Lodge, but residents maintain a significant amount of independence. The cost is nominal and some managed care companies cover the expense.
Arranging Admission to the Lodge
Individuals may be referred to The Lodge by a general practitioner, psychiatrist, psychologist or other mental health professionals either in private practice or associated with other facilities. Family members or patients themselves may also make inquiries. Many patients step down to full day programming and The Lodge after time in Peachford’s Adult Inpatient Program.
