The treatment process begins with an assessment. Whether you call or come in, it’s important for our trained professionals to take the time to gather some information and determine what’s going on so we can make a recommendation about the best course of treatment for your unique situation.
What Is an Assessment?
When you call our toll-free helpline 24 hours a day, seven days a week, a trained assessment counselor is at the other end of the line. They will ask you a few questions in order to schedule a face-to-face appointment. During an in-person assessment, a mental health professional will continue to gather information to determine the best course of treatment. (Please note: A mental health assessment for children or adolescents are geared to their age and stage of development.) You can even save time by downloading our Assessment Packet, to get a head start on filling out some of the necessary paperwork.
