Meet Our Team
Dr. Asaf Aleem serves as one of two medical directors at Peachford, overseeing all clinical services for the hospital. He has also served as a clinical assistant professor at Emory University, in the psychiatry department, and as an assistant professor at Wayne State University, also in the area of psychiatry. A graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India, Dr. Aleem continued his training with an internship in psychiatry at the Winnebago Mental Health Institute in Wisconsin and Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Aleem is board certified in adult and geriatric psychiatry, as well as a member of the American Psychiatric Association, Georgia Physicians Psychiatric Association, Society for Traumatic Stress Studies and the American Geriatric Society.
Dr. Suneel Katragadda is responsible for the clinical supervision of the Child and Adolescent Services at Peachford Behavioral Health System. He received his medical degree from Guntur Medical College in India. Dr. Katragadda then received further training through an internship at the University of Alabama School of Medicine, where he also completed a residency in psychiatry and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Katragadda is board certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. He is also a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Prior to coming to Peachford, Dr. Katragadda served as the medical director for Avita Community Partners.
Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry
Dr. Mohammad Ahmad received his medical degree from Quaid I Azam Medical College in Bahawalpur, Pakistan. He also completed an internship and residency in psychiatry at the University of Missouri and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Emory University. Dr. Ahmad is board certified in adult, child and adolescent psychiatry.
Dr. Anas Alkhatib received his medical degree from Damascus School of Medicine and completed his internship at the University of South Alabama and residency in child and adolescent psychiatry at Vanderbilt University. A member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Dr. Alkhatib has special interest in child and adolescent psychopathology including ADHD, ADD, OCD, depression, bipolar disorder and autism. He believes in comprehensive approaches tailored to the patient’s needs.
Dr. Adolph Casal received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, where he went on to complete his training with an internship and residency in psychiatry and a residency in child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Casal has also taught psychiatry at Cornell University Medical College, served as acting unit chief of adolescent inpatient services and was an attending physician on the inpatient eating disorders unit. A member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, American Psychiatric Association and the Georgia Psychiatric Physicians Association, Dr. Casal is board certified in general psychiatry as well as child and adolescent psychiatry. Since 2010, Dr. Casal has served as medical director for psychiatric services for Children’s Hospitals of Atlanta and has been involved with the treatment of all patients suffering from different classes of eating disorders.
Dr. Eamon Dutta is responsible for the clinical supervision of Adult Services at Peachford. Dr. Dutta received his early psychiatry training at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. He then went on to complete further residency training in general psychiatry and a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. Board certified in general psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry and by the American Board of Addiction Medicine, Dr. Dutta is also ASAM certified in addiction medicine and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Association of Physicians of India. Dr. Dutta’s practice focuses on acute care psychiatric stabilization and intensive outpatient treatment modalities. He also serves as adjunct clinical assistant professor in the psychiatry department at Morehouse School of Medicine and is the medical director for the Atlanta Dialectical Behavior Therapy Center. On the professional advisory board for Skyland Trail, Dr. Dutta is also an attending psychiatrist for Talbott Recovery Campus. Prior to coming to Peachford, he served as the medical director of the Albany Area Community Service Board in Albany, Georgia.
Dr. Mark Hutto received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine then completed further training at Emory with an internship and residency in psychiatry. In addition to his general psychiatric practice, Dr. Hutto also performs Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). A member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Medical Association, the Georgia Psychiatric Association, Medical Association of Georgia and Medical Association of Atlanta, Dr. Hutto is also a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
Dr. Asad Mehdi received his medical degree from Sindh Medical College in India. He went on to complete further training with an internship at Penn State University School of Medicine, where he also completed a residency in psychiatry. A member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Medical Association, Dr. Mehdi also completed a sleep medicine fellowship at Wayne State University.
Dr. Randy Slovis received his medical degree from the University of the East. Prior to completing his degree, he did one year of research at the National Institute of Mental Health. He then continued his training at Emory University with a one-year psychiatric internship and a two-year internal medicine residency. Dr. Slovis has been the staff internal medicine physician at Peachford Hospital for 24 years. He has also held the position as section chief of internal medicine at Anchor Hospital and served as a consultant for Laurel Heights Hospital. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Slovis is a member of the American Medical Association of Georgia and has also served as chairman of infection control and as a member of pharmacy, therapeutics and adult services for Peachford Hospital.
Dr. Michael Vaughn is responsible for the clinical supervision of chemical dependency services at Peachford. He received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, completing his residency there in OB/GYN and psychiatry. Dr. Vaughn also recently completed an addiction psychiatry fellowship at Emory, and he has a special interest in postpartum depression and addiction psychiatry. A staff physician for Southeastern Health Services and Meridian Medical Group, Dr. Vaughn has also served as attending physician at Prime Time Health Centers. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry and addiction psychiatry as well as a member of the American Association of Addiction Psychiatrists, American Psychiatric Association and the Georgia OB/GYN Society.
Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry
Dr. Olujimi Adefisan received his medical degree from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria. He then completed an internship and residency in psychiatry at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, where he also completed his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Adefisan is board certified in adult, child and adolescent psychiatry.
Dr. Naveed Ummed received his medical degree from Ziauddin Medical University in Pakistan. He also completed an internship at Mercy Medical Center in Chicago and a residency in psychiatry at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport.
Chief Executive Officer
A native of Shaker Heights, Ohio, Matt Crouch joined the Peachford staff in August 2000 and currently serves as CEO. Holding a BA in history from Emory University, a master’s in counseling from Georgia State University and an MBA from Mercer, he is also a licensed professional counselor (LPC). Crouch’s previous experience includes terms as an inpatient therapist, PHP director and admissions director. He began work in the treatment field during graduate school and says his favorite part of the job is working with treatment teams. When not working, Crouch collects classic cars and enjoys car racing. He’s married with two teenage daughters.
Chief Financial Officer
A graduate of Wofford College and a certified public accountant, April Hughes joined the team at Peachford in 1988. She says she fell into finance during college, when she was also introduced to the behavioral health field. Originally from Liberty, South Carolina, Hughes enjoys the interaction with her team and peers that the job provides. When not working, she likes reading, playing tennis and going to the beach. She is married with two stepdaughters.
Sharon Stackhouse has been with Peachford since April 2001 and is a registered health information administrator (RHIA). She studied at South Carolina State University and Medical University of South Carolina, previously working in home health. From Winnsboro, South Carolina, she was introduced to the field of behavioral health through her medical records experience. Stackhouse is passionate about the people she works with and the teamwork that takes place. When not working, this mom of two enjoys watching sports and reading.
Rebecca HayesMSN, RN-BC
Director of Nursing and Clinical Services
Part of the Peachford staff since January 2003, Rebecca Hayes is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse who has worked in the mental health field since 1985. She earned her BSN from East Tennessee State University and her MSN from University of Phoenix. Hailing from Bristol, Virginia, Hayes knew she wanted to be a nurse from the time she was a little girl. She finds fulfillment in seeing the difference made in people’s lives and in the people she gets to work with every day. Married with two stepdaughters, three grandsons and two miniature dachshunds, she also enjoys gardening, camping, fishing and boating in her free time.
Director of Business Development
A Michigan State undergrad, Erica Fox earned her MBA from Loyola University. She joined the Peachford team in 2001 after previous jobs in pharmaceutical sales and as a project manager. Originally from Leominster, Massachusetts, Fox enjoys blending her sales background with her interest in behavioral health. At work, she’s passionate about working with the community and helping those needing services. Off the clock, she enjoys swimming and the beach. Married with three kids and five stepkids, she also enjoys watching her children play sports.
Director of Assessment and Referral Services
Laura Naegele hails from Maryland and has been part of the Peachford staff since 2001. She studied at Muhlenberg College and Villanova University, earning a master’s degree in science and psychology. Passionate about helping people, Naegele also loves being part of a team. When she’s not working, you may find her kayaking.
Director of Utilization Review
Kristen McCoy-Rawlings has been a member of the Peachford team since 1999. She’s originally from Eastern Michigan and has past experience in adolescent residential treatment and managed care. She says the people on her team are what make her work worthwhile. McCoy-Rawlings is married and spends her free time camping and golfing.
