For me, it is hard to believe that I have been the CEO at Peachford Hospital for more than 14 years. I have seen many changes at Peachford and in the behavioral health community as a whole. It is apparent to me that the need for Peachford’s services continues to grow. Serving children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, Peachford had its busiest year ever in 2014.
Peachford recently completed a major renovation, not only making improvements to the aesthetics of the facility including hardwood floors, but also improving the safety of the environment for our patients.
Additionally, we have added a residential component to our Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs and enhanced our geriatric program by creating an Active Senior and Supportive Care Unit. In addition, we have social services staff that is dedicated to each population we serve and have physicians who are board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Adult Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine.
I am very proud of the changes we have made at Peachford Hospital and I encourage you to take a look for yourself, if you have not had the opportunity to do so.
